The Maine Prevention Council Network works to support and strengthen families across the state. Parenting is hard and all parents need support from time to time. Prevention Councils offer a wide range of support for families and parents in every county in Maine. All support services are free!
All Prevention Councils provide free parenting education where you can learn with other parents about your child's development, as well as learn techniques and strategies for your child's growth.
Prevention Councils offer opportunities for caregivers to connect with one another, receive support for yourself, and support for your children in a variety of ways, including parent support groups, play groups, and other informational opportunities.
