• Community and Family Events: Prevention Councils collaborate with local partners to hold local Community and Family Events that build connection and bring families together. These can include but are not limited to:
• Community Baby Showers: Prevention Councils bring local resources together to help welcome new babies into the community! This is fun, family-focused event that showers local families with support, resources, and gifts too!
• Story Times: Prevention Councils visit local libraries and bring children's crafts and activities to local story times, or host special themed story-times that are open to all families in the community.
• Local Festivals and Fun Activities: Prevention Councils bring free, family-focused activities to community festivals, celebrations, and fun events that are happening locally.
